Downloading 101

This is just a little thing to explain everything I do to watch BL movies…there might be better methods or programs to use out there but this way hasn’t given me any problems and I’ve been doing it like this for a while hehe~

• DOWNLOAD LINKS

Most download links are in .001 (.002,.003 etc.) format.  I (and a lot of other people) find this the easiest way to upload and download large files by splitting them into smaller parts~

• FOR JOINING FILES

I recommend you use HJSplit it’s simple and easy to use.

All you have to do is:
1) download all the .001(.002,.003 etc.) files and make sure they’re saved in the SAME folder
2) Open HJSplit
3) Click ‘Join’
4) Click ‘Input file’ and find the folder you saved the numbered (.001) files in.
5) Select the file ending in .001
5.5) Change output folder if you want
6) Click start ^^

• WATCHING

I recommend using VLC player…it has never given me any problems and you can watch any film in pretty much any format and subs are super easy to access

• SUBTITLES

films that aren’t hardsubbed already are the worst…but don’t worry!! Somewhere online, some saint will have created subtitles.
Usually I just google the movie followed by ‘srt’

1) Download the srt file, save it into the SAME folder as the movie
2) Make sure the srt. file and the movie have the SAME NAME
3) Open the film in VLC and right click….
4) select ‘subtitles’ and then ‘add subtitle track’
5) Find the srt file (should be in the same folder!!! hehe
6) if the subs are coming out weird right click the VLC screen again and select ‘subtitle’ and then ‘sub track’ and select a different track
